The Toad in the Village

The Toad in the Village is a country pub and restaurant based in The Noordhoek Farm Village. It opened in December 2008 and is a high quality addition to the village. It is a place you need to experience. In winter both the ground and upper floors boast large roaring open wood fires and in summer the outside beer garden and upper deck in-between the trees give it an ‘every season’ feel. The Toad is well known for its live entertainment and sport viewing with something happening every day of the week. The menu is great pub fare and caters for all tastes. Quality dishes such as their smoked eisbein, rack of ribs, gourmet pizzas, smoked chicken salads and french onion soup compliment the vast array of draft beer and other thirst quenching beverages available. It is a family friendly environment where people like to bump shoulders and share intimate moments and with The Toad’s all season beer garden grass layout it also meets the needs of families with little children. The Toad is quickly becoming a destination venue filled with many locals as well as those from all over Cape Town and abroad.
