WINEMAKING DATA: Grapes for this wine are picked on the picturesque south facing Noordhoek slopes from the Peninsulas’ southern most vineyards. The grapes were harvested between 22°B and 23.5°B in the early hours of the morning and were all hand-picked.

· Barrel Ageing : aged for 11 months in barrel on gross fermentation lees 40% new wood, remainder 2nd and 3rd fill.
No malolactic allowed.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES: The wine shows a complex array of citrus and apricot flavours with strong minerality and some subtle toasty notes. This all follows onto a wonderfully full palate with crisp acids and great length.
This Chardonnay is drinking beautifully at present, but try to exercise patience as it will only improve over the next 2-5 years.

BLEND: 91% Semillon and 9% Sauvignon Blanc

WINEMAKING DATA: Grapes for this wine are picked on the picturesque south facing Noordhoek slopes form the Peninsulas’ southern most vineyards. The grapes were harvested at 22.5º - 23°B in the early hours of the morning and were all hand-picked. The wine was bottled in January 2008.

WINEMAKERS TASTING NOTES: Nose shows dusty, herbaceous tones with black current, limes and subtle oak. This follows onto a tight palate along with fresh acidity and ends with a bone dry finish.

WINEMAKING DATA: Grapes for this wine are picked on the picturesque south facing Noordhoek slopes from the Peninsulas’ southern most vineyards. The grapes were harvested between 23°B and 24°B in the early hours of the morning and were all hand-picked.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES: Isliedh is created in a tight mineral style for enjoyment with great food which will reward for many years to come. The wine displays a complex array of limes, minerality, tropical fruit and spice which will be accompanied by secondary flavours over time. The ’07 can be best enjoyed from mid-2009 over the next 5 years and possibly even 10.
