Blessed with beautiful weather, we enjoyed a brilliant day at cafe Roux this last Sunday. "Me, him and Mr Brown" (the band + Jon Green) played to an enthusiastic afternoon crowd. Hansa draught sold out by 2:30. A great day!

We will be screening the World Cup final at 8:30pm on Sunday night. Paul Q will be playing live music for the afternoon (indoors as the temperatures are looking very chilly this weekend...). So join us for a glass of gluwein as we end off this unbelievable world cup experience!
Slight typo in our previous blog - we will be screening the QUARTER finals at 4pm both today, Friday, and then also on Saturday. The sun is shining. it's going to be a great weekend!!!
The final is drawing near and there are some massive games coming up. We will be screening the semi-final Friday afternoon between Netherlands and Brazil at 4pm and Argentina vs Germnay Saturday at 4pm. Food on offer: burgers, veg pasta, smoked chicken pasta and butternut salad. Kiddies food will be available and our cakes and desserts.
The weather is looking good and the football is heating up.
Come and join us this Sunday, the 27th of June, at cafe Roux. Sudan will be playing live music between 1:30 amd 4pm. We will then be screening the massive game between England and Germany. In their honour, we will be serving Frankfurters with Sauercraut and traditional English Bangers & Mash on our special's board and throughout the game.
Many of you know Itayi…he is the little man who works behind the bar at café Roux.
Last night he was watching football at a friend’s in Masi and his shack burnt down. And he is left with absolutely nothing but the clothes he was wearing.
I am appealing to all of you to help if you can. Perhaps you have some old furniture sitting around (a bed, cupboard, plates, cups, stove etc). Alternatively, if you would like to help him out with a with a donation, we will be doing a collection for him at cafe Roux.
Thanks guys. The smallest gesture will really help him.

cafe Roux is will be celebrating father's! On the specials board we are going to do our delicious Lamb Pie with creamy mash and salad. Finish off with Fundi's awesome Chocolate Croissant Bread & Butter pudding . This dessert sells out every time...SO good on a winter's day. Me and Mr Brown will provide the music to entertain us into the late afternoon.
